There's no monthly rent and no setup fee. Innvil takes 5% commission, and only on orders that actually complete — 0% on anything canceled or refunded. That 5% also drops as you scale (see below), and we never take more than $100 from one panel in a single day.
Yes — 5% isn't forever. The more a panel sells, the lower its rate: roughly 4% at 1,000 completed orders/day, 3% at 2,500, 2% at 5,000, and 1% at 10,000+. Cross 1,000 orders/day and you can contact support to have your rate reduced. On top of that, Innvil never takes more than $100 from one panel per day — so the effective rate keeps falling the more you sell.
You can set a panel Live any time — even before adding funds. With no Innvil balance it runs in preview (Inactive): your storefront is fully browsable so you can see exactly how it looks live, but customers can't place orders yet. To start accepting orders, open Billing → Add funds and top up (first top-up $10, then $5 minimum) — the panel activates and any live-preview panels flip to fully live automatically. The 5% commission draws from that balance as orders complete, and if it runs out the panel returns to preview until you top up again.
